Artist In Residence Program

St. Mary's Episcopal School is proud to offer the Louise T. Archer Artist in Residency. In existence since 2001, the residency was made possible through the generosity of alumna Louise T. Archer '40, who made a bequest to the School, and her daughters, Nell Archer '79 and Louise Archer Slater '67. The residency brings a nationally recognized artist to St. Mary's each year.

The yearly residency spans 3 to 5 days with a culminating event taking place at the end of the residency. Students have the opportunity to interact with the artist, whether through a class, demonstration, gallery talk or master class.
