Academic Support

St. Mary’s is a supportive, caring community of learners and leaders where students engage in on-going learning and self-discovery in order to thrive in a global environment. The school offers a wide system of support services to help students achieve this goal.

Academic support, in its purest form, begins with the outstanding instruction given by a dedicated faculty who strive to use a variety of strategies to meet the learning needs of girls. The learning style of each student is assessed and strategies that best meet the individual learning style are shared with the students and the faculty. Twice during the quarter, the entire faculty, along with relevant administrators and support personnel, will meet to discuss the progress of each student and to identify individual academic needs. Regular conferences are held with the parents and teachers of those students who have special learning needs to determine the ways in which the St. Mary’s community, partnered with the home, can help that student be successful.
