T he performing and visual arts are an integral part of the St. Mary’s experience.
From ballet and musical instruction in the Lower School to Advanced Placement Studio Art courses in the Upper School, to the myriad of performing and vocal arts offered in both the Middle and Upper Schools, St. Mary’s offers its students a wide-ranging curriculum in which they can cultivate their creative skills and enhance their talents.

As the home of the Buckman Center for Performing and Visual Arts, St. Mary’s offers its students the unique experience of being exposed to and creative partners in the visual and performing arts on every level. Whether exploring the exhibits that hang in the Levy Gallery to taking on a role in a student production, or studying alongside renowned artists as part of the Louise T. Archer Artist in Residency program, St. Mary’s students experience every aspect of the performing and visual arts.
