Ways to Support St. Mary's

There are many different ways to support St. Mary’s:

  • The most basic—and vital—is the Annual Fund, which provides daily operating support for the School. The 2006-2007 Annual Fund raised more than $761,000 from St. Mary's friends and family.
  • Since 2003, For Girls. For Life. For Generations. —The Campaign for St. Mary’s has raised $25.5 million and built two new buildings. St. Mary’s, like all independent schools, relies on separate capital gifts to build and renovate facilities.
  • The endowment, currently valued at $9 million, is a permanent fund from which only earned income is spent and is invested under the guidance of the Board of Trustees.
  • Planned giving is a great way to support St. Mary’s, even if you don’t have a large amount of cash.

St. Mary's is a winner of a 2006 CASE-Wealth Engine Award for Educational Fund Raising, which honor superior fund-raising programs across the country.
St. Mary's is among the exceptional group of colleges, universities, and independent schools named to the Circle of Excellence for overall improvement in fund raising. This is the second consecutive year that St. Mary's has been honored by the Council for Advancement and Support of Education.
