Making a Gift or Pledge

Stock
If the securities are held by a broker or banker, you can have the securities transferred directly to St. Mary’s account at any local brokerage house. Then email the Advancement office or call 901.537.1403 to alert St. Mary’s that a gift of stock is being made. Donors of securities are eligible for special tax advantages. Matching gift
If your or your spouse’s employer matches gifts to educational institutions, your gift could be doubled or even tripled! Contact your human resources department for its policy on matching gifts and the appropriate form.
Bequests
