St. Mary’s 9th Grader Named Finalist in Statewide Miss Basketball Competition

Congratulations to Kaylan Pugh who is one of three finalists for the TSSAA D-2 A Miss Basketball. At 5’9 she is a second year starter, averaging 26 points, nine rebounds, three steals, and one block per game. She has already topped the 1,000 point mark as a freshman. The Miss Basketball Awards will be given at the BlueCross state tournaments, beginning at the Division 2 Championship in Nashville next week. Way to go Kaylan!
