Vote for Lumière, this year’s Lower School Scarecrow!

Last year, St. Mary’s Lower School Scarecrow Mary, the Robot, Rocks! won Best School Mascot Scarecrow and honorable mention for Most Creative at the Lichterman Nature Center. This year, the 1st and 2nd grade girls are back at it - they have been volunteering during their recess time making Lumière, this year’s scarecrow. Their Disney’s Beauty and the Beast inspired scarecrow is wind-powered, demonstrating the importance of being environmentally friendly.
Starting September 6, you can go to the Lichterman Nature Center and vote for Lumière. The voting ends on November 16, so be sure to stop by before then. To read more about the contest, click here.
