National Honor Society 2023

This morning, we inducted 43 Upper School students into the National Honor Society. The National Honor Society was founded in 1921 to recognize and encourage academic achievement, scholarship, character, service, and leadership. Our officers from the class of 2023, Anna Douglas Piper, Grayson Finks, Fia Arbelaez, and Gracie Shy, welcomed the newest members.

Vice President Grayson Finks spoke about the NHS Pillar of Character, saying, “having good character means embodying high morals, as well as ethical qualities. However, having good character is not only having the strength to do what is right but also being able to admit when we are wrong. We are honored to recognize each of our honorees today as being someone of strong character.”
