Turkey swimmer Grace Ciaramitaro ’23 will continue her athletic and academic career at Vanderbilt University. This month, Ciaramitaro signed with the Commodores swim team.
Ciaramitaro has had an accomplished swim career at St. Mary’s and has been an essential part of the Upper School team. She earned seven first-place medals over three years at county and state meets.
“It’s been a pleasure to have Grace as a part of our program for the past four years. I’m not sure where the team would be without her,” shared Coach Collin Dowling.
Ciaramitaro has been recognized by area media outlets for her excellence in athletics, including multiple nominations for The Commercial Appeal Swimmer of the Year and Daily Memphian Swimmer of the Year.
Beyond athletics, Ciaramitaro is an involved member of the St. Mary’s community. She is integral to the St. Mary’s Community Fund, serving as the GIVE901 co-chair for the past two years. Ciaramitaro is also the ad editor for the yearbook, serves on the Honor Council, is a member of the French and INSPIre clubs. She is the recipient of the University of Pennsylvania Book Award, a member of the National Honor Society and Beta Club, and has received many awards for her performance both in the classroom and in the pool.
Congratulations! We look forward to cheering her on as she competes for Vanderbilt.
