Arts
Our Arts Program nurtures creativity through visual arts, music, dance, and theater. Students are encouraged to explore their artistic passions, collaborate with peers, and showcase their work in performances and exhibitions.
Global Studies

Honors Independent Research Study
Honors Independent Research Study (HIRS) is a transformative program that allows students to engage in real-world research projects in partnership with local organizations. Students develop critical research skills, present their findings, and prepare for future academic challenges.
Memphis Legacy Project
Launched in 2014, the Memphis Legacy Project documents culturally significant Memphis buildings at risk of disrepair, preserving their history before restoration. Students chronicle iconic landmarks and share their stories.
Service

Writing
St. Mary’s empowers girls to develop their voices as storytellers, from writing journals in Senior Kindergarten to crafting speeches before graduation. By exploring a range of writing styles—from poetry and songwriting to scientific research papers—students build both confidence and skill.
