Middle School Teams

Balance between continued development of the fundamentals and increased emphasis on competition. Focus is on sportsmanship, while learning the responsibility of being on a team. Coaches are encouraged to develop a rotation of players to facilitate maximum game exposure for each player.

All Middle School sports are open to girls in grades 6th-8th. Athletic forms are required once a year for students who plan to participate.

Fall Sports

Kick-arounds will be May 13, 3:30-4:30 p.m. on Southard Field. Tryouts will be May 14 and 15, 3:30-5:00 p.m. on Southard Field.

Girls Volleyball
grade volleyball will begin on August 5 and have practice on Monday and Wednesday afternoons and Friday evenings through the end of September.  There are four play days on Saturdays in September. Sixth grade volleyball will begin once school resumes.  Tryouts are not held for sixth grade and all girls are welcome to participate.

Seventh and eighth grade volleyball clinics will be May 6 and May 8, 5:30-7:00 p.m. at Memphis Juniors Volleyball Association (MJVA). Tryouts will be May 13 -14, 5:30-7:00 p.m. at MJVA. 

Middle School golf seasons begin the first week of school. No experience is required. Golf can be played in conjunction with other fall sports.  Girls must have their own set of clubs.

Cross Country Middle School will begin training at the beginning of August and will continue until Fall Break. 

Winter Sports

Tryouts are held in late October for each of our three basketball teams. Each grade will have a team. Basketball season runs from late October through mid-February.

Swim team practices at the Racquet Club of Memphis. The season extends from early November through early February.

Spring Sports

Lacrosse (Blue & White Teams)
Preseason begins in late January with tryouts in February. The season runs February through May.

Track and Field
Pre-season training begins in January and the season runs from March through May.

Season begins January and runs through May. Practices are held at the Racquet Club of Memphis three to four times per week.

No experience is required. Girls must have their own set of clubs.
