Auxiliary Programs at St. Mary’s is excited to offer Specialty Classes to girls in each division.
Enjoy returning favorites like Pottery and Gymnastics, and new additions like St. Mary's Turkey Theatre and Matchpoint Tennis Academy. After3 is free for girls attending specialty classes from school dismissal until their class starts, and there is a 15 minute grace period for pickup. Only students who stay at school for a FULL day are allowed to sign up for Specialty Classes. If you daughter leaves at noon, we have two noon class options for her. Join us for lots of SPARKLING fun each week in our STEM Gems Club as we code and have fun exploring STEM, STEAM, and STREAM in this all-girls weekly meetup. Each week our STEM Gems will work toward earning a new Gem (diamonds, rubies, emeralds, and more) for their STEM headbands by completing STEM challenges, coding robots, programming and so much more. Our weekly meet-ups enhance critical thinking skills while building up self-confidence and teamwork all in a positive and enthusiastic learning environment. It’s time to get creative and SPRING into another fun-filled pottery class! In this hands-on six-week class, students will learn the basics of clay hand-building. Students will use their imaginations to create themed clay projects, from forming the clay with their hands to learning painting techniques and using specialty pottery glazes. Projects are based on grade level.

St. Mary’s Turkey Theatre
Turkey Theatre will provide an early introduction to theatre and assist in building the confidence of young girls. Students will stage Winnie the Pooh KIDS and learn how to create a character, practice public speaking, and gain confidence in singing, and movement in front of an audience. Public performances are March 24 and 25.

Monologue Preparation
This class is designed to sharpen a student’s monologue repertoire and theatre audition skills. It is perfect for those who are auditioning for upcoming shows. Match Point Tennis Academy
A program designed specifically for children ages 7-12 that involves smaller sized courts, shorter nets, kid-sized rackets and softer, less bouncy balls. This allows kids to play on courts and with gear that is tailored to their size and strength, making the game a lot more playable and fun. Our goal is to introduce kids to tennis at an early age in a non-pressure, fun environment. Many fun games are part of the curriculum to keep kids engaged and learning. Students must provide their own racquets.

Our unique curriculum triggers your child's imagination by taking their soccer ball, Bob the Bobcat, on adventures using their favorite movies and TV shows like Frozen, PJ Masks, Paw Patrol, Moana, and MORE! Pickleball
In this class, we will be learning to play the game of Pickleball! Pickleball is a paddleball sport that combines elements of badminton, table tennis, and tennis. Two or four players use solid paddles to hit a ball, much like a wiffle ball, over a net. The rules are simple enough for kids to easily pick up and enjoy the game.

This 6-week Makerspace class consists of two weeks of the following: 3D printing - Learn how to use CAD (Computer Aided Design) to 3D print custom trinkets that can be added to keychains or necklaces. Cricut - Learn how to make a custom door hanger with the Cricut Maker 3. BREAKER SPACE - Turn the makerspace into a breaker space. Have you ever wanted to take something apart to see what's inside? Choose an electronic device, carefully deconstruct it, and catalog the parts you find inside.

ACT Prep Workshop

Babysitter Certification
Babysitter lessons and safety training is an important program for potential babysitters providing extensive training in pediatric first aid, household safety, and the fundamentals of childcare. Auxiliary Programs is thrilled to offer noon specialty classes for our girls in Pre-K and JK. Girls will have lunch as a class at 12:00 p.m. each day and classes are from 12:30 p.m. - 1:15 p.m. Girls that attend a full day of school will return to their classrooms. Girls that typically leave at 12:00 p.m. will have a special 1:15 p.m. carpool on the Marlene R. Shaw Early Childhood Center porch. Girls must attend school on the day that they attend a Specialty Class.

Obstacle Mania!
Jump! Duck! Roll! Crawl! Climb! Each of our obstacle courses will focus on different muscles and skill groups like rolling, jumping, upper-body strength, balance, and body awareness. This is fun class focuses on physical and mental organization along with practical problem solving. The kids will stay up & busy as they conquer...well...the obstacles! Each class starts with 10-15 minutes of fun aerobic warm-ups & stretches. We will split into age-alike small groups so they can work on the skills needed in their obstacle course for the day. Then, we’ll put it all together for the MANIA!

Cirque Zuma Zuma
Cirque Zuma Zuma is the ultimate circus, featuring the best of the best jugglers, contortionists, acrobats, musicians, dancers, and entertainers in the world. These top talents culled from 16 African nations training in its Kenyan and Tanzanian schools, have trotted the globe entertaining and awing audiences with mysticism, magic, fun, and excitement set to the hot, rhythmic pulses of Afro-jazz. Pizza and drinks will be served prior to the show. Student transportation from North Campus will be provided. Policies and Procedures
GENERAL INFORMATION
To register online, please visit Ultra Camp. If you haven’t yet done so, please create a complete profile for your family. You may register for classes and make payments through this platform. Please contact Briana Morrow at 901-537-1415 for any registration or payment questions.
Only students who stay at school for a FULL day are allowed to sign up for Specialty Classes. If you daughter leaves at noon, we have two noon class options for her. Please click the Early Childhood Noon Classes tab to see those details.
A $25 deposit of per-class is required for registration. The $25 per-class deposit is applied toward the total class fee; it is not an additional fee. The deposit reserves a space for your child, and the remaining balance is due by the start date of the class. All deposits are non-refundable. Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express, as well as checks and cash, are all accepted. Programs will not be prorated for any reason.
Please contact Auxiliary Programs at St. Mary’s at 901-537-1415 if you need to cancel a class in advance. A minimum of 10 days notice must be given to receive a refund, less the non-refundable deposit. Except in cases of illness or emergency that is disclosed to the Auxiliary Programs Director before the start of an activity, refunds will not be given after a program begins. No refunds will be given to those students who choose not to attend class without their parents’ knowledge. Confirmation of class registration will be sent to you via email along with your locations. Confirmation emails will show your balance, which MUST be paid by the start date of class to attend. Classes with insufficient enrollment are subject to cancellation with a full refund. Advance notice will be provided to those registered.
BEHAVIORAL POLICY
Students are expected to adhere to the policies of St. Mary’s Episcopal School. We reserve the right to dismiss from the program (without refund) any student whose behavior becomes unmanageable. Students and campers are not allowed to be unsupervised on campus and are expected to be neatly and properly dressed. The use or possession of alcohol, drugs, or tobacco products is not allowed, and any students in possession of such items will be expelled from the program, and the appropriate authorities will be contacted, and no refund will be given.
DROP IN FEE
There is a 15 minute grace period from the time the class ends to pickup your daughter unless she is enrolled in After3. After that time, she will be dropped into After3 at the rate of $10.
