Safe @ Home
Safe@Home is an introduction to safety skills and first aid necessary to prepare students for the responsibility of staying safe when unsupervised. St. Mary's advises parents to assess their child's age and maturity level before making the decision to leave them unsupervised. There is no age that students are automatically ready to stay home alone. Staying home alone is a big responsibility, and all preteens need maturity and confidence to take on that responsibility and need to be comfortable with the idea of being home unsupervised.
