St. Mary's is proud to announce that Caroline Ciaramitaro '18 has been selected as a Morehead-Cain Scholar at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Only 3 percent of candidates this year are invited to become members of the Class of 2022, placing Caroline among a strong and select group. To date, St. Mary's has had three graduates receive the Morehead-Cain Scholarship in the past 10 years.
St. Mary's presented Paula Casey, an accomplished journalist, with the Cynthia D. Pitcock History Award today. This award was established in 2002 and bears the name of former St. Mary's history teacher Dr. Cynthia D. Pitcock and honors extraordinary people who have made historically significant contributions.
Fairy Tale Engineering connects our language arts curriculum with the engineering design process to develop solutions to problems found in the six fairy tales our first graders study.
